Did I hear you right, Did you say RUNNING?!?!?!

YEP, you heard me right. I DID say running! Now my running and your running may look different... my running does include walking, sometimes more often than running =). However, after logging 17 miles this past week I am going to nominate myself into the 'running' club of the world!!! And the reason is: I did not step onto a scooter, bike, or into roller blades to log one of those miles!!! Nope, I used my own body's strength and INSANITY to make it through each of those miles!!! (Also, with a lot of help and motivation from my awesome running partner, Jocelyn-who never says a harsh word to me, she just happily encourages me to do better next time!!!)

So after finishing my 3rd Race of the summer with my personal Best Time I think I can finally admit I might like it! Jocelyn and I went to Panguitch Friday so we could go to the Ruby's Inn Rim Run Saturday morning. Can I just tell you how fun it was!! There were so many people, it was so exciting to be out with them on the trail! Running through the forest, coming out and looking over the rim, and then the best feeling of all, running through the parking lot toward the finish line, knowing I had made it!!! Incredible!!!

I very nice woman took our picture and told us that her running club would take pictures of all of their feet before each run. Hopefully our 'feet' will continue to grow!!!
